Your inputs
The calculators run in your browser. Your income, balances, family details and results are never sent to us or anyone else, never added to URLs, and never included in analytics. To carry your numbers from one calculator page to another, the site keeps them in your browser's session storage for the current tab only. They are cleared when you close the tab.
We never ask for your FSA ID, Social Security number, loan account or any login, and nothing on this site can see your loans.
Website delivery
Cloudflare serves the site and necessarily receives ordinary connection information such as IP addresses, request paths and browser headers to deliver and protect the service. The site loads no advertising and no remote fonts; fonts and scripts come from this domain.
Anonymous counts
We use Cloudflare Analytics Engine to count page views, the first use of a calculator on a page, page-speed measurements and fixed error categories. These records contain the public page path, country, device category, whether the request looks automated, and the site version. They use no visitor identifier or tracking cookie, and they never include what you type. Cloudflare keeps sampled request and error logs for up to seven days to diagnose failures.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits. It may set first-party _ga cookies to recognize repeat visits. Google receives the page path, page title, limited campaign tags, the referrer's origin, and ordinary browser and connection information, including the IP address used to estimate location. Enhanced measurement and advertising features are off. We don't send calculator inputs or results to Google Analytics. Event-level data is kept for 14 months. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics doesn't load for visitors in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland or Quebec, when location is unknown, or when the browser sends Global Privacy Control. Automated and test traffic is excluded. You can remove analytics cookies through your browser's site-data settings.
Ads and referrals
The site shows no ads and has no referral links today. If that changes, this page will change first.
